BORDENTOWN CITY – A long vacant clothing factory is getting a makeover.
Construction began Wednesday to convert the brick manufacturing building into affordable apartments for seniors and veterans.
The nonprofit Mission First Housing of Philadelphia will build 48 apartments at what will be called Bordentown Senior Housing, with five units to be set aside for military veterans.
