What: Groundbreaking Ceremony for Bordentown Senior Apartments

Where: The Future Site of Bordentown Senior Apartments, 1 Spring Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505
Why: Mission First Housing Group will develop 48 units of affordable, senior housing at Bordentown Senior Apartments. The project will include the adaptive reuse and rehabilitation of the former Eagle Shirt Company factory into 21 one-bedroom apartments, and the new construction of a three story building addition of 27 one-bedroom apartments. Bordentown Senior Apartments is located within a redevelopment area of the city and will be a vital component of the neighborhood’s revitalization. The funding for Bordentown Senior Apartments comes from NJHMFA, Wells Fargo Bank, Burlington County and Federal Home Loan Banks of Pittsburgh and Atlanta.
