Lancaster contractor to build $12.7M housing for vets in Chester County

Caldwell, Heckles & Egan has been named the general contractor for a $12.7 million affordable housing project for veterans at the Historic Whitehall Inn property in Spring City, Chester County.
With funding from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and other sources, Lancaster-based CH&E will construct a 55,000-square-foot building with 48 apartments for veterans plus one apartment for an on-site superintendent.
