Bordentown Senior Apts. is officially under construction in NJ!

On Monday, May 18, Mission First Housing Group broke ground on Bordentown Senior Apartments, 1 Spring Street, Bordentown, NJ.

Joseph Malone, Mayor of the City of Bordentown; Anthony Marchetta, Executive Director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency; Walter Kubiak, Executive Director of Mission First Housing Group; as well as Mission First’s leadership team, project partners and community members joined together to celebration with a ceremonial first dig.

Mission First Housing Group will develop 48 units of affordable, senior housing at Bordentown Senior Apartments. The project will include the adaptive reuse and rehabilitation of the former Eagle Shirt Company factory into 21 one-bedroom apartments, and the new construction of a three story building addition of 27 one-bedroom apartments.

Bordentown Senior Apartments is located within a redevelopment area of the city and will be a vital component of the neighborhood’s revitalization.

The funding for Bordentown Senior Apartments comes from NJHMFA, Wells Fargo Bank, Burlington County and Federal Home Loan Banks of Pittsburgh and Atlanta.
