Approximately five years ago, Transitional Independent Living, 46th and Spruce Streets caught fire. Ever since then, the building has sat vacant, marring an otherwise quaint streetscape.
But after years of neglect, there’s a plan to tear down the one-story structure and replace it with a four-story apartment building. The project, developed by Mission First Housing Group, would be dedicated to low-income housing apartments.
