10 am-12 pm: Clean-up
Meeting at CWEP, 2801 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia
12-2 pm: Volunteer BBQ
Philadelphia Brewing Company, 2440 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia
Why: Each Spring, the City of Philadelphia holds its annual “Philly Spring Clean-up Day”. CPM has partnered with residents from Kings Highway, New Kensington CDC (NKCDC) and the Somerset Neighbors for Better Living (SNBL) for this year’s project. The plan is to clean up the East & West sides on Somerset St. from Kensington Ave to Trenton Ave.
A community cookout and children’s activities will be held after the cleanup.
