Montgomery County officials and leaders of Congregation Har Tzeon-Agudath Achima are celebrating a milestone in the construction of an affordable housing project for older residents on land previously owned by the Wheaton synagogue.
During a Thursday morning topping-off ceremony at the building site at 1910 University Blvd. West, a representative of Philadelphia-based developer Mission First, said the project that will provide 90 apartments is estimated to be completed by next fall. The ceremony marked the placement of the final beam – or topping off – of the building project.
