Developers unveil early plans for redevelopment of Baltimore’s Old Town

Developers showed off their plans to redevelop 16 acres in Baltimore’s Old Town for the first time Thursday, discussing plans to bring apartments, affordable housing, a grocery store and retail to the long vacant area.
Local developers Beatty Development Group, Henson Development Group, Commercial Corp. and Philadelphia-based affordable housing management company Mission First Housing are working together to bring pedestrians and residents back to Old Town, which once housed a Kaufman’s department store and the former Belair Market.
