Construction of Wyalusing Meadows, a 50- unit affordable housing project, is underway on a portion of a 6.8-acre site on the former Friery Farm, just off Route 6, behind the Farm and Home Plaza in Wyalusing Borough.

Mark Deitcher, director of business development with Mission First, the Philadelphia-based company heading the project, said that documents were signed last month sealing the deal and allowing the project to move ahead.
