Workers from the Public Archaeology Facility at Binghamton University are seen above looking for native American artifacts at the site of Wyalusing Meadows, a 50-unit housing development expected to begin construction later this year. So far, spear tips and ancient fire pits have been uncovered but no sign of human remains. Workers Alex Button, front, and Josh Andrews are seen above, with project director Brian Grills in the distance.
A team of archaeologists from Binghamton University is looking for Wyalusing’s long ago past in a field slated to be the future home of a 50-unit housing development called Wyalusing Meadows.
