BORDENTOWN CITY — In Bordentown City, a former shirt factory at the corner of Spring and Ann streets has sat empty for years. Some windows are broken or boarded up and vines have crawled up along the brick facade.
But Monday marked a revival of the site. Mission First Housing Group, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, is converting the former factory into 48 affordable, senior housing units. Officials broke ground on Monday and construction will begin Wednesday.
