Local Affordable Housing Residents Recognized for Their Work in the Community

by Mission First Housing

Who: Nearly 60 of Mission First Housing Group’s affordable housing residents, as well as staff and community partners

What: A Night to Remember: An Appreciation Banquet for Our Residents. Ten Mission First Housing Group residents will be honored with certificates of appreciation.

When: TODAY, December 18, 2015 from 4-8 pm

Where: Honickman Learning Center Ballroom, 1936 N. Judson Street, Philadelphia, PA

Why: Mission First Housing Group provides housing to nearly 2,500 residents in Philadelphia, and over 4,000 in the entire Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to a safe, affordable home, Mission First offered services to its residents to allow them to live independent lives and thrive in their community through the Resident Services team.

Mission First’s Resident Services team chose 10 residents to honor this evening, because of their efforts to go above and beyond in their community. These individuals volunteer around their neighborhood, as well as offer insight to the Resident Services team about the community and suggest solutions to issues. A number of programs for Mission First residents were developed from ideas these residents have shared.
