Description

An abandoned lot in West Philadelphia, this property was a neighborhood eyesore and a breeding ground for drug activity. Mission First received a HUD Section 811 Capital Advance to build this 3-story, 10-unit building which provides much-needed accessible housing for low-income individuals.

 

Financing was provided through a HUD Section 811 Capital Advance, HOME funds from the City of Philadelphia and an Affordable Housing Program grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
